Scholarships to Israel individuals who have completed their undergraduate degree to attend a prestigious UK university. This program is intended for young scholars demonstrating outstanding leadership, character, intellect, a commitment to service, and the potential for leadership.

The Rhodes Scholarship program is the oldest (established 1903), and perhaps the most prestigious, international scholarship program in the world. Administered by the Rhodes Trust in Oxford, the program offers more than 100 fully-funded Scholarships each year for postgraduate study at the University of Oxford in the UK - one of the world’s leading universities. Selection Committees for the Scholarships are looking for young leaders of outstanding intellect and character who are motivated to engage with global challenges, committed to the service of others, and show promise of becoming value-driven, principled leaders for the world’s future.

The broad selection criteria are:
- Academic excellence
- Energy to use your talents to the full (as demonstrated by mastery in areas such as sports, music, debate, dance, theatre, and artistic pursuits, including where teamwork is involved)
- Truth, courage, devotion to duty, sympathy for and protection of the weak, kindliness, unselfishness, and fellowship
- Moral force of character and instincts to lead, and to take an interest in your fellow human beings

A Rhodes Scholar will undertake postgraduate study at Oxford, a taught or research degree, or a second undergraduate degree with senior status (over two years). Subject to fulfilling the entry criteria for their chosen course, Rhodes Scholars may pursue any full-time postgraduate course offered by the University of Oxford, whether or not in their field of expertise. In all cases, entry to Oxford is very competitive indeed.

Following selection for the Scholarship, the Rhodes Trust will also cover the application fee required to apply to study at the University of Oxford.
