NYU Grossman School of Medicine - COVID RESEARCH

The . . consists of approximately 20 doctors dentist PAs nurses translators and aides. Annually we provide "in-country" free and dental examinations as well as medications vitamins clothing and other health and beauty supplies to about 1,500 sick and poor families in Honduras. Due to COVID-19 the April 2021 trip was cancelled. However we provided and humanitarian supplies remotely through the School Sisters of Notre Dame in US and Honduras. Note additional collection of and Humanitarian supplies and funds due to two Category IV Hurricanes which devastated Honduras in Nov 2020 was delivered in early 2021.

Provide support for wide spectrum of educational endeavors, especially for adolescents and children. Attempt to support families in need financially. Additionally, provided financial aid through synagogues and to individuals for financial help during pandemic.

Helping under-served in the areas of health and education. Villages in India are adopted for addressing the needs. Primary focus is to work to educate, create awareness, conduct preventive screenings and to hand hold village women in terms of specific malignancies such as oral, cervical and breast cancer. Raising funds to conduct preventive screenings and also to procure a mobile mammogram vehicle fully equipped to conduct on-site screenings. Also taking up projects in rural villages in the area of education. Because of COVID our above mentioned areas could not be undertaken. Instead, we helped underprivileged by providing much needed medical supplies in 2021. We hope to return our regular mission this year.

IN 2021, DESPITE THE PANDEMIC, THE MADE GRANTS FOR PAST ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE PRUDENT AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $12,000 ($3,000 TO EACH OF FOUR RECIPIENTS)

TO PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES OF JETRO HOLDINGS, LLC AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS, WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE UNFORSEEN EMERGENCIES OR OTHER CHALLENGES THAT CREATE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.
