In-kind grants of creative and marketing services to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit, educational, and service organizations and government agencies to improve communications and brand value. The goal of the program is to help organizations strengthen the marketing and branding efforts of successful applicants through brand development, marketing strategies, website design, and creative services.

Cooperative agreements to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, for-profits, IHEs, government agencies, Tribes, school districts, and housing authorities to develop a resource for human brain cell data research. Applicants are advised that the required registrations must be completed prior to applying.

Grant of $1,000 to a Canada or International doctoral student or early career researcher in the field of reproductive health and population sciences to attend a conference. Funding is intended to support participation expenses as well as costs for travel associated with the conference. The event, or Psychosocial Workshop, will be held in April in Washington, DC, and will focus on issues related to population, including migration, contraception, and abortion.

Grant of $1,000 to a USA, Canada, or International graduate student or early-career psychologist affiliated with a nonprofit institution or government entity for research projects addressing population concerns and human reproductive behavior. Requests will be accepted from applicants in any relevant discipline who can demonstrate a psychological work approach, with preference given to psychologists.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International postdoctoral students and recent graduates to participate in scientific research exchange programs in eligible countries. Funding is intended for the fellow to pursue postdoctoral research in a laboratory located in a different country than where he or she earned their Ph.D. International exchange is a key feature in the application process. EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships also support the career development of the fellows through leadership courses and networking opportunities.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International students and young professionals to attend an international conference related to aerospace. Applicants must obtain two recommendations from an employer, professor, or other individual prior to applying. Priority will be given to applicants from countries with emerging space capabilities and interests who would otherwise not be able to attend an International Astronautical Congress.

Fellowships of $3,000 to USA, Canada, and International young early-stage filmmakers to participate in a professional development program in filmmaking. In addition to receipt of the monetary grant, fellows will benefit from mentoring, participate in monthly webinars, workshops, and workshares, and work on a new project throughout the yearlong program. Eligible fellows include emerging fiction and documentary filmmakers between the ages of 18 and 25.

Awards of up to $3,000 to USA, Canada, and International teams of post-secondary educators to recognize creative teaching methods that foster student-centered teaching and learning. Funding is intended to cover registration and travel costs to attend an annual conference.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA and Scandinavia nonprofit organizations for public programs and events that aim to promote an appreciation of Nordic culture in the United States or American culture in Nordic countries. Funding is intended to encourage the public appreciation of art, culture, and thought.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International high school sophomores and juniors to recognize exceptional pieces of writing. Students must submit a writing based on a topic developed by the advisory committee. The themed piece should be written from the students' personal perspective and voice. Writings are judged holistically on content, purpose, audience, tone, word choice, organization, development, and style.

In-kind grants of products valued at up to $4,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit and educational organizations to support animal habitat conservation research. Recipients will be provided with products and software licenses for equipment that assists in conservation research related to vocal wildlife, such as bats, birds, and frogs.

Awards and scholarships to USA, Canada, and International physicians, medical students, residents, and fellows for research addressing neuromuscular diseases. Applicants are required to contact the funding source or submit an abstract before being chosen to apply for each award. Finalists will present their papers at the AANEM Annual Meeting.

Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to support the early and conceptual stages of exploratory and developmental research projects.

Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for studies on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care for AD/ADRD.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International agencies, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and IHEs for exploratory neuroscience research projects. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for innovative research of high value to the neuroscience community.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International agencies, for-profits, IHEs, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations for new research to develop better pharmaceuticals for children and pregnant women. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for the investigation of novel scientific ideas or new model systems, tools, or technologies that have the potential for significant impact on biomedical or biobehavioral research.

Fellowships providing a stipend of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and Mexico master degree students, doctoral candidates, and postgraduate scholars to support ongoing writing projects and research in art. Applicants can be from any discipline or university department, provided the subject pertains to caricature or cartoon art. Eligible applicants must be engaged in dissertation or thesis research, or postgraduate research within three years of graduation.

Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to encourage community-engaged research that broadens the conceptualization of qualities of the environment that can support language development in children and that focuses on the development of novel measures for children’s language development.
