Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB)
Award of $10,000 to a Canadian individual of Aboriginal descent for demonstrated initiative in the field of business. Funding is intended to reward a young resident of Métis, Inuit or First Nation ancestry for a business enterprise that will inspire advancement in the national economy.
The National Youth Entrepreneurship Award highlights the enterprising spirit of young Aboriginal business leaders under the age of 35.
The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) maintains that young business leaders are key to a resilient future. Upon quoting the Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame (ABHF), the Council describes the National Youth Aboriginal Entrepreneur Award as celebrating the impressive young people who are driving the Aboriginal economy through vibrant community enterprises.
