Fellowships of up to $5,000 to Israel university faculty to host international scientists for exchanges of ideas, opinions, and knowledge in the field of natural sciences. Funding is intended to cover travel and accommodation expenses for leading scientists from around the world to visit Israel for several days. The applicant must submit a comprehensive and detailed program for the visit, which includes visits to at least three Israeli academic institutions.

The Batsheva Fellows Program brings world-renowned scientists from abroad, to meet with young Israeli researchers at Israel's universities and enhance and broaden their horizons.

Term of Contract:

Please only submit requests to appoint scientists due to visit Israel in 2020.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Every faculty member from an Israeli university is eligible to submit a “Batsheva Fellow” scholarship request.

Pre-Application Information:

Dates of submission – the requests must be submitted by August 16, 2019.

A special account must be opened for the visit’s expenses at one of the host institutions.
