Grants and in-kind support to British Columbia Schools in the Lower Mainland for special projects that address the needs of students. Funding and volunteers are made available to local schools to enable them to provide for students' basic needs, such as clothing, food, bus tickets, grocery gift cards, equipment, field trips, and educational resources.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Schools in British Columbia's Lower Mainland are eligible to apply.

AaS grants do not cover capital projects, rent or mortgages.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for applications for the 2019/2020 Adopt-a-School campaign is October 15, 2019. Applicants will be notified in February.

If your school has more immediate needs that Vancouver Sun readers may be able to help with, such as winter coats, school supplies, boots or food, email the Fund and you will be added to the ‘schools in need’ map.
